As many of you know, my firm name was previously Pajama Lawyers. Rest assured that my approach has not changed and I still celebrate working out of my home. I changed the name for three reasons. First, I have preferred to do most of the work myself, rather than affiliating with other lawyers, so it now makes sense for the firm name to simply be my name. Second, when I started this firm, I envisioned doing primarily back-office advising. While I do a lot of advising, I also train, conduct investigations and represent clients (not always back-office). Third, I wanted to take “Lawyers” out of the name because my work encompasses more than law. Therefore, it now makes sense to follow a more traditional approach. However, I promise that I will continue to provide great work without taking myself too seriously, just as I did when the firm name was Pajama Lawyers.
